Home is Where the Haunt is Card for WOYWW!! #169

Hi Friends its time for...
What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday!!

I was up tonight making this Halloween card and thought that I would join in on WOYWW #169. It has been a while since I have join Julia and all her friends... and I have really missed it!!!

If you don't know what WOYWW is... you go to the Stamping Ground and check out all the links to the other blogs and see what they are up to. It includes lots of pictures of peoples Desks and how messy or how neat they are. Now does that sound like fun or what!!!

This is the card I made tonight. I am making some card kits to take on our Cruise to Alaska. My friend Deanna and I are going for one week and leaving this Friday. We are both making six sets of six each.... so we will come home with 36 cards!!

I just added this pink shelf the other day. I found it at the goodwill thrift store for $2.00. I spray painted it this cute pink color!! I just love how it turned out. Plus it holds some of my clear stamp sets.

This is my desk tonight... not to messy. lol

I try to keep a small space clear to stamp on... but most of the time its covered too. I also made the coffee girl cards tonight and have them for another post.

In our card kits for our Alaskan Cruise we pre-stamp everything and will just put them together while on the boat. That way they fit in a zippy bag. You can kind of see the zippy bags in the other photo above this one.

I used glossy paper and ink refills for the background of the houses. I put some foam shaving cream on a paper plate and added drops of ink... put the paper in and Bam!!  Wow they are so cute!!!

Your shelf looks great Shirley, isn’t it fab when you find a bargain like that and it’s perfect storage for your stamps.

Lucky you doing the Alaska cruise…….I’m not envious in the slightest!
I really wanted to do it when my cousin and I were in Vancouver a few years back but time and money stopped us from doing it on that occasion. Fingers crossed I will get back over there one day and be able to do it.

Enjoy your crafting session at sea.

Happy Crafting!

I love a Goodwill find that works in the craft room. Looks fab. Your collection of punches is truly impressive.

I really like the way your shaving cream backgrounds turned out. I could never make that work.

Sorry so late. Busy week. Katie #158
