Halloween Happiness Card

Hello My Friends!

Yesterday was card club and this is one of my cards that I created for my Girls! I also made Chicken Enchiladas, the recipe that you can find all over Pinterest OMG they were so good! I bought this stamp first thing and just finally inked it up yesterday.

I am looking for new people to join card clubs and classes that I hold at my home I live in Hansville Washington. So if you live in Bremerton, Port Orchard, Bangor, Silverdale, Seabeck, Port Gamble or Poulsbo I would love to see you at one of my events. Just like my Facebook page or email me at shurleepumpkin@msn.com.

This card was so much fun to make and went real fast for the club members.

I stamped the image in Summer Starfruit then stamped it again in Pumpkin Pie, then cut that one out and used dimensionals to pop it up. Behind the oval is a Deco Label.

Color Me Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!

I spent most of my day yesterday in my craft room, sewing and making cards. I just had to make a card with the new goodies that I got from Lisa Pretto as a Surprise Gift in the mail last week. I made this card for my club tomorrow. I used everything she sent me except a large cherry cobbler ribbon, but I hope to make some bags with that today.

When I look at the images of the stamp set "Color Me Christmas" they just make me smile.
The embossing folder is from Mary Fish as a gift for recruiting new downline, I got a total of 4 embossing folder so far, two from Mary Fish and two from Ann Schach. I got everything in this card as a gift and "Color me Christmas" was a Hostess gift and "Tags For You" free at Convention... except the punch! I am super Blessed!

I just thought this sketch would go perfect with the "Color Me Christmas" stamp set. If you like this sketch and want to join the challenge go to Unscripted Sketches!

I stamped the image of the reindeer in Black on the DSP and then added the reindeer that I stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I did not want to have to cut out the reindeer antlers. lol

I wanted to share a few photos that I took while we were in Seattle for a few days doing school clothes shopping and hanging out at the Seattle Center. This is the Space Needle at night, I took this photo with my cell phone.

We went up the Space Needle twice. This is the night shot,

and this was the day shot

My sons Levi and Calvin loved the Space Needle, we had the best time.

By The Tide Card

Hi Blogging Friends

I made another By The Tide card or I should say cards. I did this card for my club.

This stamp set is perfect for any greeting! I don't think it has to be a Man card every time or even just for people that like ocean or boat themed cards.

This is a quick and easy layout to always go back to with just about any stamp set.

I think the pearls make it look like bubbles. lol

I love putting pennants onto any card. When I was finishing up on cutting all the cards for club I used some scraps that were left to make this one.

Crystal Effects is one of my Favorite Techniques, here I added it to the seahorse and then Hot Glued it onto the button. The best way to do this with a small image is to stamp the image, then use the Crystal Effects, let Dry, then cut it out.

So I am adding it to SUO Challenge this week!!!

Don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack!! OMG lots of good stuff  and good prices! Including Punches and Big Shot Dies!

I took a picture of my desk... OMG it's really bad! What I love about my desk is that its solid as a ROCK, I got it at a garage sale years ago for only $10.00. Its an old Military Desk, it was shipyard gray but I painted it a golden color. If my house was falling down I could survive underneath of it no problem.... ahh one problem I have to much 12x12 DSP underneath. lol

This is a big mess, but I was doing a few projects at the same time and things got a little out of hand! Lol. It's all cleaned up now... wink wink ;)

This is a Beautiful view that I woke up to, the day I took all these pictures of my desk and cards.

Thanks for coming by and saying HI!

September Pals Blog Hop using our Favorite Tools! With A "By the Tide" Card

Thank you for joining us for the September Pals Blog Hop. This month we are showcasing projects made with the Stampin' Up! tools we love.
You should have just left stop number {1} on the Pals Hop - {Kim Czenszak at Live Love Stamp}. If so, you are in the right spot.  If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations
.
Time for some Blog Hop fun with the Pals.  It's hard to choose what tool to use I love them all!!! I decided to start with the stamp set "By The Tide" it was on my mind from the start. I had just gotten the new Christmas DSP and wanted to use the silver and coastal cabana paper. I found a sketch I liked on Pinterest, Sweet Sunday sketch challenge 150. I have used this sketch a few times I just love it. I decided to just emboss a small piece of the paper behind the image and only did the top part so I can stamp the words onto the bottom of the piece of paper. The Big Shot is my favorite tool but I could never live without my punches!

When making a card I will normally start with the stamp set that I want to use, what do you start with? Stamp set, Sketch, Color, Paper, or something else?

The new 5/8 Silver Ribbon is so pretty I plan on using it a lot. I used the sponge dauber lightly on the edge of the white embossed piece and on the scallop circle.

The chevron paper is from the In Color DSP, and the silver paper is from the Winter frost DSP.

Toil and Trouble Card with Mojo Monday Sketch

Hi Blogging Friends!!!

Last night was one of the crazest lightning and thunder storms here, I could not sleep and was on Pinterest until 3:00am. One of the best things about Pinterest is that you have a chance to keep all the different sketch challenges together in one place and can go and reference them when ever you want. I have 540 pins just on my sketch and color challenge board... Wow I was even surprised by that number! lol Are you as addicted to Pinterest as me???

I used the stamp set Toil & Trouble on this card. I love all the new Halloween sets in the Holiday mini this year.! My mind is going a million miles a minute thinking of more things I can make with them. I love big bows on my cards and it is hard for me not to put one on every single card that I make, the girls in my groups even laugh at me sometimes. lol

Another Oldie but Goodie sketch from Mojo Monday #146 from July 2010. I had to change the square image on the left to the right because of the words on the stamp set, it just covered to much stamp detail when on the left. If you click on the link it will take you to the original post from 2010, so look at the Design Team cards, and I just looked at the challenge and it has 345 entries. WOW!

I did not use black paper behind the skull I used some of the DSP that was left over from cutting the card.

Stamp Sets:
Toil & Trouble 4 pc set 2013 Holiday Mini Page 20
