Love Impressions Rub-Ons Candy Jar

This would make a great gift for a Teacher or a Friend on Valentines.

I found this cute little jar at Micheal's for $1.49. I used the free Love Impressions Rub-Ons that all the Demo's got as a surprise gift. I bought the Valentines M&M's but I picked out the 2 shades of pink to put inside the jar. Just a quickie post.

Coffee Drinking Kangaroo Card

This is a Color Challenge that I did with Terry Su, click her name to see her card. My card is of aCoffee Drinking Kangaroo. lol I was thinking that Regular Joe would go cute with a Kangaroo card, with them being called Joeys and all.

 What I like about this Kangaroo, are those super cute eyelashes!

This was the sunset tonight at my place. I was on my way out the door.. and I saw it and ran in the house for my camera. That is one Pink Sunset!! If you look at the photo you can see some of the house lights on.. it was kinda dark when I took this but the sky was so bright.

My Stamp Room Reveal !! And What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday aka WOYWW #86

I decided to reveal my new Stamp Room on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. Thanks to Julia and all the Gals and maybe a few guys, I always have a great time snooping in on every ones Crafty area. I also love that so many of them leave nice comments.. so I always try my best to return them.. plus some.! I have been working on this for a few weeks. I took my kids TV room and they got my small loft upstairs. Hee Hee (evil grin) I am not sure how happy they are about it yet, But I am super Happy!! One of the best things about it is that, now when friends come over to stamp with me I don't have to go upstairs 100 times getting things.. Ouch!! so many nights I could hardly walk.

 As you walk in from the front door. That is my desk with the big black chair. I am not sure why I did not turn the light on.. I think the pic would have been better.

 Here is one side with a bunch of cubbys that I got at a Hardware Store. They are Martha Stewart and were $39.00 each, their is two there. I also have 2 chairs that go at that table, but I moved them for this photo. I made the stamp shelves with 1 inch by 2 inch pine, that I got at the local Hardware store.  Closer look at my desk and the other chair is for Deanna when ever she comes over, she will hurt anyone who sits there... lol The Black chair is mine. I picked up Office chairs at garage sales this summer, people are always selling them because they don't match or something.. so I picked them up for $10.00 or even less. Who cares if in the stamp room they all don't match.. lol

 Cabinets on the wall, by the door way. I have all my photos in the green hutch bottom part (my Husband built me that) and then albums and background stamps on the shelves.

 Inside the cabinet, with all my scrapbooking paper and alphabet stamp sets.. and lots of other junk.

 I got this table at a junk store for $12.00. The card tree is SU, but is no longer available.

 I bought this shelf at a junk store for $5.00. I made the flip flop album a few years ago, and the wreath was made by Terry Su.

Right next to my chair I have the big-shot and the punches. My Husband made the little table and he is also going to make me a much better shelf for my punches.. I can't wait.

Pun Fun Mojo Monday

I am so excited I now have 102 followers Yeah!!! My 100th follower Annie is doing a week of just Pun Fun Cards so I thought that I would join in on her fun and make a Pun Fun Card too. lol that sounds funny. I chose the Mojo Monday Sketch to make my card and the skunk is so cute and funny I thought that it would make a cute Valentine card.

Just a Peek at my New Stamp Room

I just wanted to share a few Pic's of my new Stamp Room. I have been very Busy for almost 2 weeks. I had a few Friends over for the Sneak Peek this weekend. I told them to bring extra Pants.. lol Because they were going to wet them selves when they saw my new room. Amber said that she would wear Depends...... (funny girl).

  An old Mason Jar that I turned into a Stamp Lamp, It is so cute!

 I was just having a little fun with some of my things. I picked up these cute buckets at a Garden Shop a while back. I had this pile of Maple tree sticks for my snowmen I made this winter, I just put them in the bucket and added the felt flowers from a few years ago to jazz it up. Then I added some stamps to the little buckets that I did not have room on my wall for.

 

 Some of the cute cards that Deanna made, She is using the Owl Punch for the first time and loving it!

 I made the shelf with 1inch by 2 inch pine that I picked up at the lumber store. It need to be sanded and I also painted it white. This shelf is 8 feet long.. and still all my stamps did not fit. LOL

 In the shelf below the lamp is my 12 x 12 albums. I had to also make some shelves for my clear stamp sets. The first row is 10 inches from the ceiling and the rest are 8 inches.

There are more photos to come, but I wanted to do that on my WOYWW post on Wednesday. I have photos of the tables, my desk, cabinets and more close ups of other stuff.

Here Birdie Birdie!!

What a Tweet day for a Bird card! I love birds, they are just so cute. Terry Su and I both made a bird cards, I think mine is cuter... lol I have had a really busy week. I moved my stamp room to a bigger room in the house.. YES Bigger!! Yeah!! I am so happy I am jumping for joy right now.. as I am sitting here. (lol jumping and sitting hmmm) So I have been painting and making new shelves and moving furniture all around the house to make it work. Anyway (blogging later about it) This is my first Card in my new Stamp Room, I had my Glee CD going and singing (lol like a bird) while I was making this card. I hope you all like as much as I do.

 I used sticky strip behind the heart and also on the ribbon at the top of the card. I used a sponge dauber around the top note, heart and words. I even put a pearl in the middle of the rose.

I used some White Smooch spritz can you see it? I wished it showed up in the picture better.

Clearly for you Card

I was talking to Terry tonight and she asked me.. "How did I come up with this color choice" lol I just laughed, But I think it was one night when Terry and I were on the phone really late at night and looking at the SU Color Chart and we picked some colors that sounded kind of cool. And they do look good together, its just not one's that I use. Terry has always told me to get out of my Box and use colors I don't use.. lol. So that is also going to be my advice to you ALL, think outside the box, you will love what you create.

 I just love the little birds, I was looking for a stamp that said "one of a kind" for my sentiment, but the one I found was not the right font.

This was the view I woke up to this morning, all the new snow on the Olympics.. Beautiful

Nature Walk Card

 I love this new Stamp Set, how many of you also got this set first! This new mini is killing me.. lol I love all of it. I used all new stuff on the card, those mini roses are so cute.. I am going to have to buy more already. lol

 I added Glitter to the Ladybug, for my bling.

I just wanted to add a really good close up of this ribbon. Its the Satin Vanilla. To make this really cool look, all you have to do is use "Sticky Strip" along the spot where you want the ribbon. Then you take the ribbon and add it to the sticky strip and move it around.. if it's not looking like you want it just comes right back up... so keep trying until you get it just how you like it.

Things I Love Card

My Bestest Stampin bud Terry Su had a "Things I love" Stamp Camp. It was $12.00 and you got the stamp set and 3 cards... I know what a bargain. Anyway I already had the stamp set so I told her I would make a card for everyone and just come and hang out, and this is the card. I really loved Terry Su's Baja Breeze glitter card (click here to see it),  I just love that darn Glitter I am so glad I have it, I am going to use it a Ton!

 You can't make a card with that stamp set called "Things I Love" with out a lot of Bling!!

Kimono Kids Card with 411 Sketch

I love this stamp set, but this one is not mine. Deanna came over this weekend and borrowed some of my stamp set so I made her leave this one at my house. lol I love that girl.

 She is so cute!

I used the sketch for Stamping 411. Just click and join in on the fun!

 I just love this little dress and stamping it onto DSP and cutting it out is always cute. Then I added lots of pearls to the dress and her hair.

I had a kind of crazy idea,of hanging the tag with buttons like charms. Turned out real cute.

Girly Weekend with Deanna

What a Fun Weekend!

We spent the day making Lumpia, Caramel Corn, Fudge, Biscotti and lots of cards.  Amber also came over and helped with the Lumpia and the Caramel Corn.

This is the cute Ferry Stamp my Son Calvin found at the Stamp store Rubber Soul last week. He kept checking on her to make sure she made a card with it. Plus she used You're a Gem stamp set and the top note from the big shot.

Homemade Lumpia! OMG it was so good! I use hamburger in mine.

I made 2 batches of Biscotti. One batch was made with espresso and Silvered Almonds. The other batch with Macadamia nuts. I have that recipe if any one wants it.
