This week at A La Card Monkey is Anythings Goes. I have a Butterfly Stamp Camp today so I used this sketch for one of the Cards.

I used Dazzling Details on the scallop edge and Butterflies body's.

Things I Love Butterfly Card for ColourQ

I am doing an all Butterfly Class for a friend that is moving away. I asked her to pick the theme and she said "butterflies!!!" In my mind I was "oh no!! I don't know if I could do it". This card is way out of my comfort zone. I think I have added Butterflies to maybe 3 cards in all my years stamping!! lol

So my mind was kind of blank to start and I went to ColourQ to get a good color combo. I don't have any Dusty Durango so I used Calypso Coral. I took a card that Dawn  made, over at DO Stamping and used it like a sketch.

Here is a close up to see all the Smooch Spritz I used, so hard to get a picture of that. I really loved how it turned out.

Three Birthday Cards with Dinoroar Stamp Set

Hi Blogging Friends!!

I sat at my desk today and still had a pile of stuff left over from making my Valentine Dinoroar card, but it's not Valentine's anymore so I made Birthday Cards instead. All three are different. I have been making 4 cards every time I do a challenge so I have more cards to sell at the Variety Mall where I have a card rack.

The Scallop paper on the bottom is from Twitterpated. I just happen to have it already on my desk so I added it.

I put a bow on this Dinos head to make it a girl!! So darn Cute!

This Scallop is from the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die.

I used the Labels Framelits here, but I cut one the same size in Real Red then cut it in half and put it behind the image.

How I colored in the Dinosaur's was to use the marker first all around the edges, then got my aqua painter and ink pad and water colored the inside of the animal.

I love the rosette decorative strip! It makes the work fast!!

This one I gave red toe nails, just for fun.

"Have a Seat" and "It's the Thought" Card for A La Card Monkey Challenge

"Take a Moment"

I love this new challenge this week. I looked around my room to what stamp set to use and the "Have a Seat" set caught my eye. I knew I had not used the cherry paper yet from the DSP "Sweet Shop", and from there the card just kind of made itself. lol

Do you remember the Mary Englelbright saying "Chair of Bowlies" I always loved the Mary Englebright stuff, I used to work at a gift shop that had everything ever made.... it took so much self control not to buy it all!

The Sketch!!!

I could not believe when I found a teeny tiny stamp that had the word "moment" on it.

This is how I made the mini tag.

 

 

Here is another card I made, but I used Pool Party ribbon. This one I remembered the cherry on the chair.

Paper Players Design Team Call

Hi Blogging Friends!!

I was so excited to see that The Paper Players is having a Design Team call this week. So this is my Application.

Hey, this is Shirley Sumption aka Pumpkin, and I am a stampaholic. I am at my desk every night creating something from the tons of supplies I've collected. Card making is my favorite thing to do, but I love scrapbooking too. I am a stay-at-home mom. I turned my boys' TV room into my new, improved (and bigger) stamp room. Don't feel sorry for the kids. They have plenty of room to watch TV and play their games in my old craft space. I also enjoy crafting with wood, paint, and fabric, and involve my husband and kids on a regular basis. I have a lot of fun blog surfing, and get inspiration from bloggers and challenges everywhere. The new friends I've made by blogging and leaving comments mean a lot to me. I would like to join The Paper Players Design Team because I admire the DT's creativity, the challenges motivate me to do more, and I would love to be a part of inspiring others' creativity.

Lollipop Photo Valentine Cards for my Son

OMG!!! My son and I made the Cutest Valentines Ever!! I saw this idea on Pinterest.com and just put my own spin on it with all my Stampin' Up Stuff.

I used the new Heart Framelits!!

This one is on Peach Parfait paper and the DSP is from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog "Everyday Enchantment".

This one is on Cherry Cobbler paper.

This is the photo I used, I just had to cut out 30 of them to make all those cards!! Gee's I got hand cramps!! lol

Here they all our on my desk, I used several colors for the hearts.

This is the back that my son stamped, yes he has his own name stamp. The words are from the stamp set "Toucan of my Love" from a few years ago.

I just love this little Gnome Set, they just make me happy! It looks like these little Gnomes are giving a Valentine to each other.... so so so CUTE! 

My Husband and I were married 8 years ago on Valentines on the beach by our home. I love all Holidays but this one means a ton me.

I had fun with this one! I wanted to make a kids card for my Son to give to his Teacher at the Valentine party. My Son picked out this stamp set out and I went from there.

So this week its not just a sketch it is a Mystery Animal!? LOL

"I dig Dinosaurs and I dig you"!! I love that saying because it reminds me of the Valentine cards I got as a kid.

My Favorite Week Three from My Valentine Blog Hop!!

Create a Cupcake Card for A La Card Monkey Challenge #94

PS I Love You Card for Valentine Blog Hop Week 3!

Hi Everyone !!

I made an easel card this week, they are fun, fast and cute! I used some Doilies that I bought last year at Michael's craft store, that I just happen to find in a box today. Terry let me borrow this stamp set, I really like it but not sure if I am going to get it or not.

I was so happy to see that the Doilies fit perfect inside the Scallop Circle.
