St. Paddy's Day Owl Card

I made another St. Paddy's Day Owl card today. It's going to be a make and take. Everyone loved the owl card so much. I made it a quick and easy card for everyone to make. I used white card stock and stamped only half of the card with the little Shamrocks. Then using the ribbon border punch, I cut a piece the length of the card. I sponged all around the card including all the punched out shapes. The suit part is a stamp out of the Tags till Christmas, from the Holiday Mini 2010.

Who whoo loves St. Paddy's Day??

I used crystal effects on the eyes to make the look like rhinestones.

Clearly for you Card

This is a card that I started to make at one of Terry Su's Stamp~a~stacks and did not finish. I had it at home on my desk and I finished it a little different then hers so I thought that I would share it. I used Marina Mist ribbon and to get a cute knot on the card, I tied it with the card upside down.

Here is a close up of all the sponging that I did, it looks good I think. I also sponged around the news print paper on the outside of the card.

I used hemp thread with the bitty buttons. Later in the week I bought some needle threaders to make this job easier. And I did try that today with another card and yep! the needle threaders work perfect.

St. Paddy's Day Owl Card

It's almost St. Patrick's Day, and Yip I love this Holiday too! I was named after my Grandfather Shirley Patrick O'Rourke, Irish as Irish can be! I really don't know much about my family history, but watching that new show "Who do you think you are" makes me really think about it. Ok... lets talk about my card now. I been waiting for this day to make this card, I saw the shirt tag stamp and wanted to make a little Shamrock Owl and he is so cute! I found the hat in an snowman stamp set. I know not everyone has thoughts of dressing up the little owl... But I have dreams about it!!! LOL

OMG...He is cute!

I hand cut out the little shamrock and put it on his hat.

A Valentine by My Son Calvin

I was planning on posting this on Valentines day and forgot. My Son made his own Valentines this year. He stamped all 25 himself and the only thing I told him to add was the heart on the parachute, I thought that it needed it to look more like a Valentine. My Son is in the 3rd Grade this year.

He found the  parachute Stamp at Rubber Soul before it closed last year.

Deanna and I both love to Stamp and make cards, but Deanna does not always like the same stamp sets as me. But this stamp set was on the "wall of stamps" and I was surprised when she wanted to use it to make some cards. Here they are, the funny thing is that she used Purple... What Purple! the girl that is always in pink and could make a pink card a day for a year, and never be sick of the color.
