Spec-tacular Stamp makes a Great Man Card

Hi Blogging Friends!!!

Finllay made a card with my Sunglasses stamp "Spec-tacular". When I first laid my eyes on this stamp it was LOVE! I had this layout in mind with the pennant punch right away!

These buttons are on the retiring list, sad to see them go but at the same time can't wait to get my hands on the new buttons! I always use a glue gun for buttons now, they just stay on forever that way.

I made a total of 10 of these cards some of them I put 4 pennants some 5... I could not decide what I liked best.

Not sure about the Summer Starfruit sponge daubing, but still a fun card.

Mustache Man Cards and Mustache Fabric Owl !!!

Hi Blogging Friends!!!

Had a few friends over the other day to hang out in my Stamp Room... I should say hang out all day and night!!! LOL Some of them did not leave until after midnight.

I wanted to use some of my paper that I had just got, and use my stamp "Many Mustaches".

I used a layout that I have used before, and just moved the pieces around to make each card different.

The 100% original stamp is an old one that I have had for years and thought that it was perfect with this paper and mustache stamp.

The little mustache is not a stamp, I cut it out of the DCWV paper pack.

The Genuine Article and the 100% Original stamp is an Oldie stamp set from 2006!!! Wow I had to wipe so DUST of of that one. LOL

This is a picture of the DCWV paper pack. There are so many fun different papers in here great for any Man card.

With this sentiment you can use this card for any Guy celebration.

Stamp sets:
Many Mustaches (single stamp) 2010-2011 Stampin Up Catalog
Genuine Articles 6pc set 2006 Stampin Up Catalog
Ink and Paper Colors:
Soft Suede, Vanilla, River Rock, Pacific Point.
Accessories:
Designer Build a Brads, 5/8 Chocolate chip ribbon, Hemp twine.
Designer Series Paper:
DCWV "The Guy Stack"

WHAT!!! an Owl with a Mustache!!! LMAO

Was having fun one day and added the mustache to my new owl that I had made. Everyone got a good laugh.

IF that was not enough... I took another mustache and added it as eyebrows!! LOL

The owl is made with the new Stampin Up Valentine "More Amore" designer fabric. The Mustaches are from a pack of Jolee Mustaches that I got at Michael's.

Autumn Occasions Card for Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

Hi Blogging Friends!!

Deanna was over again this weekend and we made a bunch of fun cards. This card has a bunch of my favorite colors - Fall colors! I just had to use this stamp set that I got at Memento Mall at the Stampin' Up Convention this year. I plan on using it a lot! Deanna brought over the buttons and they were perfect for this color combo, I used all that she had!!! Lol I made 6 of this card but, I made 3 of them as part of a kit for Deanna to take to work and make at lunch time. I pre-stamped and sponged all of the parts and put it into a bag for her.
This week at Paper Players, its like a game show!! You get to pick what you want to do, all you have to do is pick 3 in a row! How fun is that!!!

I picked "Favourite Colour", "Masculine" and "Punches".

Just click the link to join the fun!!

I used a Cajun Craze sponge dauber on all the squares including the scallop circle.

Yes!! I won this paper that I used on this card from the "Prize Patrol" at Convention!! Plus the stamp set "Layered Labels" 25.95 in the Catalog!! Wow Happy Dance!

Happy Father's Day!!!
My Husband loves ships and is a sailor at heart. He was in the Navy for over 20 years and spent most of that on a Submarine. He had a sail boat of his own for years and sailed almost everyday when he lived on Bainbridge Island.
So guess what... I sent him upstairs to my stash of stamps to dig out this oldie set from 2002. What a Sweetie!

I have had these buttons for over 10 years in my desk, rubbed the dust off and put them to use on this card.

I know that some guy would see this old rusty junk truck and say "looks like a fun weekend project" lol But we all know we would see it later on "Hoarders"

I think I can call this card Dusting off the old stuff!!! lol I have had this Alphabet set for so many years and only used it once.... gee's!!!

Monkey Challenge "Thinking of You"

I just got this stamp back from a friend that had it, and I just had to make a card with it real quick for the A La Card Monkey Challenge. My son is the one that really wanted this stamp set when it came out last year, he just loved it. I still had some of the "Travel Journal" DSP from that Mini so I  used it for this card.

I really miss those big buttons from last years Holiday Mini, I have told a few friends if they don't want to keep them I will buy them.!!

I used the Big Shot Movers and Shapers for the Scallop behind the Scallop.

4th of July BBQ Card

I decided to make another card for the Red, White and Blue Challenge at A La Card Monkey. With the 4th of July coming up this weekend, BBQ's are the most common thing we all do.

I used my retired Red Corduroy buttons, and Star brad. I also used the Zig Silver pen on the wheels and steam vent.
This is the sketch from the Challenge.

I love making these little flags on cards, I used the 7/8 in square punch at the end to make the flag tip.

I can't believe my Camera can take such a good close up.
