Spec-tacular Stamp makes a Great Man Card

Hi Blogging Friends!!!

Finllay made a card with my Sunglasses stamp "Spec-tacular". When I first laid my eyes on this stamp it was LOVE! I had this layout in mind with the pennant punch right away!

These buttons are on the retiring list, sad to see them go but at the same time can't wait to get my hands on the new buttons! I always use a glue gun for buttons now, they just stay on forever that way.

I made a total of 10 of these cards some of them I put 4 pennants some 5... I could not decide what I liked best.

Not sure about the Summer Starfruit sponge daubing, but still a fun card.

Baby Elephant Congratulations Card Stampin' Up!

Hi Blogging Friends!

I made more Baby Cards. I just love this elephant stamp, but had never used it! I know Crazy! Stampin' Up is bringing back a few colors... some of you might have heard already. Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz are two of them. I wanted to use them again so had to dig for some old DSP,and found "Nursery Nest" Perfect for baby cards! Lucky Me!

It just makes me smile looking at the baby elephant with its Mama.

I stamped the elephants in Blushing Bride and used Dazzling diamonds glitter on the ears.

I stamped the elephants in Marina Mist. The main card is Pear Pizzazz.

I used vintage faceted buttons on all the cards. I made 4 of each style.

You're Amazing Card for a Friend

Hi Blogging Friends!!!

I want to show you a card that I made for my card club last month. I went to the Stampin' Up Convention last year and got this stamp set "You're Amazing" For Free!!. The girls loved this card! I cut a few different background papers for them to choose from.

It may look like I used the "Blue Ribbon" stamp set but No... I used the large scallop circle punch and ran it through the big shot using the argyle embossing folder. I cut the ribbon paper 3/4 x 2 inches.

I love this DSP "World Spectacular". I might have to buy another pack before it is gone on June 3rd. The words are from the stamp "Life Shared" I cut the words away from the image when I got it.

I cut the hat out and used a Dimensional to pop it up.

Stamp Sets:
You're Amazing 6 pc set 2012-2013 Catalog
Life Shared single stamp 2012-2013 Catalog (retiring June 3rd 2013)

Accessories:
Lg Scallop circle punch, Ticket punch, 1/8 inch Vanilla ribbon, Sponge dauber

Hi Blogging Friends!!

I know it has been a while, but I have been really busy making cards. Last weekend I was at my friend Deanna's house for a few days and we made over 140 cards 15 or 20 different layouts. So we both had over 70 cards to add to our stock pile. We made 8 each of our designs and then gave the other 4 of them.

I wanted to share a cute whale card I made, its a baby shower invite. I just love the colors in the "Sunshine and Sprinkles" DSP.

"A Word for You" stamp set is retiring on June 3rd, so sad to see it go!

I used this sketch from The Paper Players, just turned it upside down.

I used the little anchor from the Clearlits die "Happy Whale" as a topper on the ribbon.
