Like it a Latte Card

I love making cards and I love a good cup of Coffee! I guess I took the easy way out when it comes to the color choice. With the color Early Espresso all I could do was think of coffee tonight. It might be because I did not have any today. Terry also made a card using the same colors Clink here to see it.

The Cup I stamped it first into So Saffron then used the Early Espresso marker around the edge to give it that cool out line. I did the same thing with the Heart but with Cherry Cobbler.
I used a new 2way glue pen on this, and wow what a difference it makes. My old pen was getting so old I was getting glitter on everything. lol I stamped and cut out the little espresso beans.
I just love that seam binding ribbon, do you!??

Yummy Things From My MS Event

Deanna came over and spent the weekend with me to help me with the MS Scrapbooking fundraiser. I picked her up at the Ferry, yes she has to ride a Ferry to get to my house. It was about 6:00pm when we got to my house. We decided to jump right into cooking and we made Cookies, Brownies, Cupcakes, and the Worlds best Carmel Apples. It was the most fun just cooking and talking all night. I also added some pictures of the Full Moon setting over the Olympics. (Mountain range in Washington State). That Deanna and I watched both days.

Do you want to know the Secret to good Chocolate Chip Cookies?! Use real Butter and leave it out over night so that it is room temperature.
Carmel Apples, the best I have ever had! I even had one for Dinner tonight. lol
Chocolate Chip Cookies, Shamrock Brownies, Cupcakes.
Super close up of the Carmel Apple.
 7 Layer Dip... Yum!

Yes I am "Crazy for Cupcakes"

That stamp set makes me so hungry for cupcakes. I was just looking in my cupboards and saw a few cake mixes (no Terry they are not expired), so I think I am making some for my Stampin Out MS Crop. I don't know if they are going to look that good (if Deanna helps me they might), I just plan on using some white frosting and sprinkles.  I just had my first Red Velvet cupcake this week at Starbucks... OMG Yummy!

I think I could almost eat this cupcake!! lol
Maybe it should say "eat chocolate cupcakes" lol. I used a Baja breeze button and a Pretty in Pink corduroy brad, put the brad in the button and it holds together great.

Stampin Out MS Event

Stampin Out MS (Multiple Sclerosis)

I am doing a crop at my house Hansville Washinton Saturday, February 19, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The cost is $10, and all of the money will go to my Stampin' Out MS team, which is raising money for a 5k walk on April 2 that benefits Multiple Sclerosis.
At my crop, I will have a few free cards for you to make. You're also welcome to use my stamps, ink pads and punches to make whatever you want. If you make a pledge of $50.00 or more to MS, I will make a set of 12" x 12" scrapbook pages for you (bring photos to the crop) and you will be the Princess for the day of the crop.

I am also raffling off my 5' x 3' stamp rack (photo below - the stamps aren't included) for a dollar a ticket. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to MS.

If you are unable to make it to the crop, you can still support me and my team by visiting http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/stampinoutms and making a pledge to our walk. We each have a starting goal of $100 (the amount we need to get the MS walk event shirt), and a team amount of $2,500.

Our goal is to get at least 15 people on our Stampin' Out MS team so we'd get our own tent the day of the event to decorate! We'd love to have you join us. The walk is only 3.1 miles and takes place on Bainbridge Island. Amber and Terry are also on the team.

Please let me know by Thursday, February 17, if you'd like to come to my crop! You can RSVP on my Facebook account or email shurleepumpkin@msn.com . We'll have lots of fun, food and good company.

Stamp rack for the Raffle. Stamps not included.

New Stamp rack in my new stamp room.

Your Powerful action will help create a world free of MS!

Thank You

"Love is in the Air"

Happy Valentines Day!!
I love Valentines Day My Husband and I were Married Valentines Day 7 years ago, and as my Husband just said "its been a wonderful 3 years" lol I bought this Vintage Valentine set a few years ago and I love it! Its one of my all time favorites. This time I made my card with the colors from the DSP Springtime Vintage plus Pretty in Pink and Marina mist. I did use some of the smooch spritz and lots of glitter, I am not sure if it really shows on the picture or not.
I stamped the girls onto the DSP and cut out their dresses, they look like real vintage dresses that way.

Here is a close up so you can see the glitter and the embossing folders I used.
This is my Valentine tree, those are some Starbucks bears under the tree with a Winnie the Pooh love bug. I got most of the ornaments at Joann's and the glitter heart stuff from Micheal's.

Be Mine Valentine Card

I was trying to do something different with the lg Scallop punch. I used two scallops and folded them and added one on each side of the main image. It really pops the card up.

I punched out this heart and added a pearl to it. I used the thick part of the glitter paper to do it. I really loved this paper and I hope SU makes more of this style. (with lots of glitter)
This pic shows the glitter on it.
Here is a close up of the side, the scallop is folded like a fan and it has one cut to the center. Then I taped the two ends on the side of the image.

Stamp sets:
Be Mine 5pc set 2004
Ink and Paper:
Blushing bride, Real red and Basic gray ink.
Accessories:
Lg Scallop Punch, Pearls, Aqua painter,

Sew Suite Card

I just love it when Stampin Up has a cute stamp set, and then makes a line of stuff to go with it. Like in this stamp set "Sew Suite", they have buttons, ribbon, brads, fabric, Pom pom's, Embosslet, Designer album, Rub~ons, Designer paper, a Wheel "In Stitches", stamp "Pattern Pieces" and another stamp set "Button Button". OK Now...! Do you see why it is so hard to say "NO" I am not getting this set. OMG.. I think I have been brain washed... Help where do I go to lose this mind control I am under! LOL.......
The word that I used is from a stamp set a few years ago called "Many Happy Returns". It is a 3pc set but I cut it up into 25pc set. Its an all word set with funny things that say "tickled pink", "head over heels", "happy as a clam", and many more.
Here I stacked two buttons on top of each other and put a ribbon through both.
I am so good at cutting things out.. lol

Terry and I used the same sketch to make a card Click Here to she her's.
OK OK.. I have to say I am not totally under mind control yet, Because this is not my stamp set... its Terry Su's. Yep that's right, but I have the paper, rub~ons, buttons and the brads so far. lol

Stamp Sets:
Sew Suite 6pc set Occasions Mini 2011
Many Happy Returns 3pc set Spring~Summer 2008
Ink and Paper Colors:
Tempting turquoise, Daffodil delight, Early espresso,
and white paper.
Accessories:
Buttons, flower brad, 1/8 Espresso and Daffodil ribbon,

SAS Have a Seat Cards

I made these two cards for a Stamp~a~Stack. It was  Terry Su's event and I helped out a little by making these cards, check out her blog to see the rest of them. They are quick and easy, I punched out everything for the card, to make it faster for everyone (not the vanilla parts). I gave everyone the full stamp set so that they could chose the words that they wanted on each card.
This card used the polka dot embossing folder.
I just love this little Hand Crafted stamp, as you can see it is Tiny just like the name of the stamp set "Tiny Tags".
Using the embossing folders really gives it a cool look, and people that don't stamp always love the embossed cards. I think I sell them the most.

Tiny Tags 17pc set 2010-2011 Catalog
You're a Gem 8pc set Occasions Mini Catalog 2011
