Pumpkin Theme Challenge

I just love this theme!! I do love Pumpkins! lol I am so happy with Stampin Up making this set "Greeting Card Kids" I really hope that they make more sets like this. Its that cool old Post Card style and that style is the best with that cool glass glitter.

I think I have over 25 stamp sets that have pumpkins in them, every time they come out with a new pumpkin stamp  I have to have it.. hence the name Shirley Pumpkin. (not my real last name) I am so excited about our Friday Mashup Blog, it really keeps me going and making new stuff even on crazy weeks like this one.

Look at that cool glass glitter!! I punched out the image with a 2.25 punch and punched out another piece of paper (I used Sahara sand) and that is what I put the glitter onto. I got the 2.25 circle punch from Micheal's SU does not have that one yet.

I was saying that is been a busy week for me. Well this is my cat Crouton helping me decorate the house for our Halloween party. That skull is so cool it's eyes light up and says spooky thing, Crouton has made friends with him. lol Now I am off to finish Decorating my house and making cakes.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #72

Here I am getting ready for my Big Halloween Party. I have a lot of things planned for this event.
My most favorite is the Cake Walk. Amber and I thought that making some markers for the
floor in Halloween shapes with the numbers on them would work best. Last year
I just used painters tape and put the numbers on the floor that way.

Here is a bat that we sprayed painted black and then used the large scallop punch and 2 circle punches.

Here I decided to use a black marker to make a black out-line on the ghost.. do you think it is cuter
 that way?

I think I am going to use the marker on the pumpkin too..

What I should have is a picture of Amber and I spray painting in the garage.. OMG
the fumes were bad! lol Amber punched all the scallops and circles, I am going to
finish with the numbers and then we are Laminating them so I can use them every
year. We have over 20 kids coming to the party.. I will share some pic's next week.

I just want to thank Julia for all the fun and being able to sneak peak at all those

Owl Card by Amber

Amber came over today and used the owl and bird punch for the first time, and here is her card.

Amber used the Owl punch and the bird punch to make the  wings on the owl.  Amber is a new Stamper and is just loving the Owl stuff. She used a sponge dauber to highlight the circles on the embossed part of the card.

Amber the card is so cute

Cute Halloween Trees with Dark & Dreary

I made these trees for Terry Su's Halloween Stamp Camp. I bought the trees last year at Micheals Halloween Clearence Sale. I think $1 or $2 dollars for them. We gave them away as Door Prizes... OMG people freaked out and wanted them!!. That always makes me happy when people love my stuff.

I used the owl punch and then used the Scallop punch for the owls wings.

The top of the tree I used some chunky glitter on the scallop.

Another cute tree.

French Foliage Card

I really wanted to do a fall card and I just love the "French Foliage" stamp set. I have made a few cards with it and I think its going to be on my short list as one of my favorites of the year.

OMG... I love this Card!

I did the "rock and roll" technique with the leaf,  I stamped it first in baja brezze and then rocked it into
peach parfait. You might have to clean your peach parfait ink pad after wards. I just used a baby wipe.
I am very happy with the color on this card, I think I am going to use it more. If you
have not got this stamp set yet.. I say put it on your list now!

Stamp Sets:
French Foliage 6pc set 2010-2011 Catalog
Friends 24-7 6pc set 2010-2011 Catalog
Ink and Paper Colors:
Baja Brezze, Peach Parfait, Chocolate Chip
and Vanilla Paper.
Accessories:
Peach Parfait ribbon, Scallop border punch,
1 in, 1 1/8 and 1 1/4 Circle punches,
Circle Scissor
Designer Series Paper:
Autumn Meadows

If you use the same Circle Scissor as I did by EK Success I used #122 to get the big circle

Countdown Calendar Kit Class

Beth and Terry
Jenn and Barb

Amber

Jenny

Lynn and Tera

Amber and I.. We are trying to decide who has the best 25.?

This class was a big hit. We had so much fun together making our Calendars. We got to add a lot more bling on them, like the Silver glass glitter, the new Tinsel trim silver and clear, Buttons, lots of rhinestones and we also used the Scallop circle lg and  Decorative label punches.

The kit is in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 34 its 19.95 and I only charged 25.00 for the class. In the picture in the Catalog it has some of the clear Tinsel.. but it is not included in the kit.. I thought that is was.. cuz I did not read the description.... oops
