House of Haunts Card for 411 Sketch Challenge #252

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to make a card with one of the Halloween stamp sets that are retiring on May 31st from Stampin' Up. I am doing a Pizza - Retiring Stamp Party this Saturday. We will be doing six cards and two of them are going to be with Halloween sets. This is one of the cards.

I love Halloween!! It is hard to see but, the paper has bats on it. I am sad to see this Owl stamp go but, I am SUPER EXCITED for the new Catalog!!!

Stamping 411

When I seen this sketch I just had to play along! I seen those three buttons on the side of the card and thought of Bats with silver moons instantly. This was a fun card to do. 

I thought that it would be cool to embossing the bats with the "Spider web" embossing folder. I used Silver Glimmer paper behind the bats to give them a "Bling Factor".

I changed my mind on where to put the words a few times but, I liked it best at the bottom of the card.

Monday Monster Mash Halloween Count Down Week 6

I started decorating my house for Halloween this week. I have a ton more to do, I think I have over 20 tubs full of Halloween stuff. Next week I will add some photos of how it is going. I need some of my friends to come help me!! (I hope someone can hear me!)

Here is my card this week. I just got this Hostess stamp set "Warmest of Wishes" only 10 Hostess dollars! Wow I love the owl punch and when I seen this stamp holding the pumpkin trick or treat bag I had to have it. The witch hat and the Candy stamp are from "Spooky Bingo Bits".

Wow week 5!! That means only 7 more weeks until Halloween! I am going to start decorating my house this week maybe even today! I have been really busy and just have not had the time, and what have I been doing?? lots of Stamping!! I feel like I went to some event everyday this last week.  

I just love both these stamp sets "Scaredy Cat" and "Jack of all Trades". When I stamped the pumpkin I stamped off once on my paper mat then stamped it on the card. It would just have been to dark with out doing it that way.

Kimono Kids Card with 411 Sketch

I love this stamp set, but this one is not mine. Deanna came over this weekend and borrowed some of my stamp set so I made her leave this one at my house. lol I love that girl.

 She is so cute!

I used the sketch for Stamping 411. Just click and join in on the fun!

 I just love this little dress and stamping it onto DSP and cutting it out is always cute. Then I added lots of pearls to the dress and her hair.

I had a kind of crazy idea,of hanging the tag with buttons like charms. Turned out real cute.

"Have a Seat" Stamping 411 Sketch

This is only the second card I have made with this set, and I have to say its pretty darn cute! My friend Deanna had this set and I just got it back tonight. I don't know what it is about this chair stamp set but I really like, and Deanna keeps trying to steal it. lol Or maybe just keep it for a long time hoping that I will forget about it.

I was thinking about doing a scrapbook page when I first saw this sketch, but I just got done doing 6 pages of the kids at the zoo. So here is the card. lol

I really like the sketch challenges at Stamping 411. They are creative and simple but still can be a Wow! card. Plus is that a cute name for a blog or what!!

I have not used this flower punch much, so I dusted it off and used it. It really goes with this flower paper that I used from last years Catalog.

Owl Card for the 411 Challenge

This little owl was so cute I had to use it on a card. It's from the Stampin Up shopping bags from convention, it was just hanging on it like a gift tag. I thought that it would be a fun thing for the Stamping 411 Challenge. I had fun making this card and think I could use it for Birthday or anything.

French Foliage Card "Stamping 411 Challenge"

I just got this Stamp set "French Foliage" today. I thought that I would do the "Stamping 411" I love fall the colors are fun to use. So making this card was easy, I just used some great fall colors from SU including the new color Cajun Craze.. first time I am using it. I did the "Rock & Roll" Technique. Take your stamp and stamp it in More Mustard or Pumpkin pie first then Roll the stamp (on its edges) in Cajun Craze color.

Awash with Flowers Card "411 Blog Challenge"

I just love how cute these Pearls look on everything I use them on.. Wow!



I just wanted to show how the Double sided Designer series paper looks close up, I ruffed up the edges and used a sponge dauber with Pear pizzazz then curled up the edges a little.. Super Cute!



I just want to thank the "Stamping 411 Blog" for this cute Challenge. I had fun with it and used some different color combos. It was the first time that I have used the "Awash with Flowers" stamp set. Plus I don't think I have ever made a card were the main image was cut up into 3 pieces. I just could not control myself "I" had to put glitter on the card.. Love it!
