What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #72

Here I am getting ready for my Big Halloween Party. I have a lot of things planned for this event.
My most favorite is the Cake Walk. Amber and I thought that making some markers for the
floor in Halloween shapes with the numbers on them would work best. Last year
I just used painters tape and put the numbers on the floor that way.

Here is a bat that we sprayed painted black and then used the large scallop punch and 2 circle punches.

Here I decided to use a black marker to make a black out-line on the ghost.. do you think it is cuter
 that way?

I think I am going to use the marker on the pumpkin too..

What I should have is a picture of Amber and I spray painting in the garage.. OMG
the fumes were bad! lol Amber punched all the scallops and circles, I am going to
finish with the numbers and then we are Laminating them so I can use them every
year. We have over 20 kids coming to the party.. I will share some pic's next week.

I just want to thank Julia for all the fun and being able to sneak peak at all those

Thanks for looking
Hugs
Shirley Pumpkin

hope you have a fab party - those things you've done are fab - the kids will be so excited. I remember having great times at Halloween when the kids where a bit younger, but now they're older, they are 'so over it' LOL.. enjoy while your daughter is into it, although actually, I think it was the adults that had more fun because trick or treat wasn't a massive thing when we were younger. Enjoy!

I'm definitely liking the black marker on the ghost, good work!

Thanks for popping by my blog. The baby card doesn't have brads around it but something called card candy. It's little domed pieces of card that you attached with little foam squares. Does look kinda like brads though!

Happy Halloween :-)

Don't thank me Shirley - it's people like you who have the fascinating desks! I love the preparations you're making for the party -indeed I'm so late you may just be in the middle of it by now, how fun. And PS, for what i's worth - I like the definition the marker pen gives to the shapes!

Thanks so much for the sweet comment you left on my blog last Wednesday. I’m still moving slowly, but trying to start visiting people who visited me. These Halloween shapes with numbers are SO much more clever and fun than tape! You did a fantastic job. By now Halloween is over and all that's left is the cleanup. I hope it was a fun night. Happy very belated WOYWW (# 15).
