What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #69

Chaos Panic and Disorder. My Work here is Done! That is a cool new sign that I bought the other day, you can kind of see it in the back ground of this picture. Here I am again for another fun WOYWW thanks to Julia.I have been having the best time looking at every one's cute blogs and all the different ways that people try to keep things in order... or some in Disorder.. lol

 I have been spending the day using my watercolor crayons to finish some Halloween cards that I have made to sell at my booth in Viking Village. I really need to get some Halloween cards down there and I have just kept on putting it off.. or just go hanging out with friends and goof off.

 Here is a close up of the stamp that I just used in this card, its called "Just Flying By" I think its SU 2002. For anyone who saw my desk last week or was it the week before.. anyway.. I was making a really cute "SPOOKY" Book.... it you look close it is under that pile. I am still not done with it.

This is a closer look at some Halloween jars that I just made  I bought the jars at Michael's for only a 1.29. The rub-ons were real hard to put on the round jars, but it still looks cool even though it did not work out perfect.

This is my Ribbon drawer, I really try to keep it organized by color or type of ribbon.

Artistic Etchings Card

This week is a card challenge. I used the Designer series paper "Love Letter" it goes great with this stamp set "Artistic Etchings" I have used it a few time already and that is always a good sign. lol I did use the new "Silver Smooch Spritz" But I don't think I shook it up enough at first and plus you really can't see the silver in the picture.

        

I used gold ink for the crown and add some rhinestones and pearls to it. I put a lot of dimensionals behind it and curved it a little. I do like how it turned out I just wished that the "Smooch" would have been more silver looking.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #68

Having fun again with WOYWW!! I just love this blog and Thank you Julia for getting us all started. I just love to go and look at every one's desks full of cool Stuff! And Plus it gives me the best ideas!


I just got done making a card, so its kind of a mess. The Spooky book from last week is just under the pile. I hope to get it done later this week and will show it next week. Under that pile of Cards is the new lab-top my Husband just got me the other day.. what a big surprise! Some of the Cards in that pile are from a Oldies Halloween event I just had last Saturday. The bags on the floor are some Hello Kitty stuff I am going to make into gift baskets one day, and some DSP in a folder to keep it handy. The Card I made is for our "Friday Mashup" come back and take a look on Friday.. and maybe join in on the fun!

I wanted to show how I keep my paper all sorted. I bought a file Cabinet and labeled each color with a color tab. I also put all my scraps back into the same file so all the same colors are together and I don't have to keep a scarp basket anymore.

I think I need a new pair of scissors.. my bow got a little chopped up. lol

I do really love these colors together they just make me Happy.




I have not used this stamp set yet, and when I first got it I kind of drew a blank on it. But tonight after to much Coffee and Tea... WHAM!! I got an idea! LOL. It was just to show the colors by stamping the same image in all 3 colors. I was again thinking of using Glitter... but again I took control of myself and just used the glimmer brads. Those things are Yummy!! I really love making cards with my best of Pal Terry Su .That girl have a great mind when it comes to making cards and has the best ideas in the world!!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #67

Having fun looking at every ones desks at "Stamping Ground" What's on your Desk Wednesday. This time around I took a few more pictures.



I really try to have all my stuff close to me so I only have to wheel my chair around a little. LOL





I am working on one of those big chip-board books that spell out the word "Spooky". I am just getting started on it. It will take me a few days to finish. I am really making two of them one for me and one for my friend Terry su. I have a lot of paper out to make these books. I have another desk right beside me for when my friends come over they have somewhere to stamp. I took another picture of my wall of stamps they are different then what is on my blog header now, I have sold a lot of those stamp sets or trying to sell them.. lol. I also included a picture of my Cat "Crouton" helping me make a card the other day, He is a very funny Cat!

French Foliage Card "Stamping 411 Challenge"

I just got this Stamp set "French Foliage" today. I thought that I would do the "Stamping 411" I love fall the colors are fun to use. So making this card was easy, I just used some great fall colors from SU including the new color Cajun Craze.. first time I am using it. I did the "Rock & Roll" Technique. Take your stamp and stamp it in More Mustard or Pumpkin pie first then Roll the stamp (on its edges) in Cajun Craze color.

Dark & Dreary Halloween Tree

I can't even remember where I got this really cute black tree. When I was unpacking all my Halloween stuff I came across a bunch of them that I must have got at a sale or had plans for.. lol. I was thinking here on the first one I would do it all black, grey and white. The skull garland I got a Micheals the other day on sale for $2.25.




The owls are real cute I put a bunch of them on the tree.


I used some Halloween DSP from last year and the scallop punch.


Now this is my real Halloween tree in my Dinning room!! Cute!

I have been Collecting the Halloween Starbucks Bears forever and I put them all in the tree.. Halloween is not just scary but cute too!!

Best Friends Card Mojo Monday

WOW... only 46 Days until Halloween






I am just on a Halloween kick... I Can't Stop!! I love this card and I love Mojo Monday. It was fun again to play along using this skectch.. I am really starting to get hook on this.. lol I had to use a little self control and only put some glitter on the candy bag. The Stamp set is called "Best Friends" its from a winter mini a few years ago it is a 7pc set with a Witch and a Vampire. I think I will use the Vampire stamp for my "Oldies Halloween Card Party" that I am doing this weekend so come back and take a look!!!

Animal Stories Card for a Make and Take

Stampin' Up! Animal Stories Card

This was a Make and Take card. All I did was change the colors from my Friday Mashup Birthday Card (clink link for recipe). I used Chocolate chip instead of Rich Razzleberry. I do like this color combo better, I really like earth tones in my cards. Plus as I said in my blog post for Friday Mashup.. I never really liked that Razzleberry color. 

The Designer series paper is in the Current Catalog as "Greenhouse Gala".

This is a card I made for a card swap. I wanted to do a card that would be quick to do.(are they ever)lol. I used the spider web folder and sponged with a dauber basic grey.

Animal Stories Card

I want to Scream it from the Mountain tops ...I USED RICH RAZZLEBERRY! Ok..ok.. so I should tell you all, I really Hate that color and I thought I would never use it, but today for my kids birthday card I DID IT!! I DID IT!! lol



I had a lot of fun with this card. I already had an idea in mind when I started and it turned out Great.. ( I think so anyway). If you talk to anyone they will tell you that I love animal stamp set, and Yes I do. I buy them all and just love making fun silly cards with them. There is not really anything hard about this card I could tell you.. what you see is what you get. I just know now I have to get a Rich Razzleberry marker. Darn it!!


My Cat Crouton decided he wanted to sit and watch me, and play with my stuff while I was making this card. He is just a little brat! In this picture he has one foot in a Ink Pad and the other on my Card!! Gee's Cat

Then here he is again pushing my stuff off my desk and watching it hit the floor. I don't know if you can tell how big he is but he weighs 15 lbs.. he is a big CAT!



He just would not leave me alone and kept jumping up on my desk. Here I think is just saying "look at me I am so CUTE!"

Right after I got my son onto the bus, I sat down and started to make this card for Mojo Monday. My Desk is not to much of a mess this week. I had gotten a new storage unit last week to help with the mess.

New Cabinet in Stamping area

I have been running out of space for a while in my Stamp Room. I was at Home Depot and found this Cabinet by Martha Stewart, it was 39.99 and the little baskets were 6.99. I really thought it was a good deal and that it would hold a lot of my things so my stamping area would be more clear and I would not have to move things to the floor every time I wanted to stamp.



My stamping area is more like a loft and that is my bedroom door that you see. I really need more space. lol



I could not decide on one Color of the Baskets so its kind of a mish-mash. lol In the Baskets I have .. one is full of ribbon, then one has all my Zutter machine and bindings and my glue gun, then one is full of Projects I have never finished, and then the last two have all my tin's and chip board books (I have a lot of those).



This is my Card Tree that Terry Su bought for me at the Stampin Up Convention last year.



Just a look at the top of it, trying to keep all my new cards and stuff organized.. Trying!!! lol



And this is how I have been taking all my pictures of my Cards lately. It really is great, I just use this one box for Pictures so it is always clear, plus its all white and the pictures turn out so good and I don't have to run around my house looking for the best light to take the pic's. I added that little white picket fence just cuz it was cute!.. I got that at Micheal's in the section where all the cute wood shapes are for only like a $2.00.

Awash with Flowers Card "411 Blog Challenge"

I just love how cute these Pearls look on everything I use them on.. Wow!



I just wanted to show how the Double sided Designer series paper looks close up, I ruffed up the edges and used a sponge dauber with Pear pizzazz then curled up the edges a little.. Super Cute!



I just want to thank the "Stamping 411 Blog" for this cute Challenge. I had fun with it and used some different color combos. It was the first time that I have used the "Awash with Flowers" stamp set. Plus I don't think I have ever made a card were the main image was cut up into 3 pieces. I just could not control myself "I" had to put glitter on the card.. Love it!
