Buttons and Bows Monkey Challenge

Wow a Button and Bows Challenge!! Sounds like so much fun... Right. Then go make a card and join the challenge.
I wanted to use some of my new Paper that I just got "Big Top Birthday".

I was thinking how cute it would be to use buttons for wheels,  like a toy. I just had to make a pinwheel for the elephant. I used a Q-tip for the stick.
What a Cute Little Pig, it made us think of the new Button stamp set.
Challenge goes live 9pm Friday Night. Contest starts Midnight.

I used the Pinwheel paper, cut two of them out and used a brad to put them together.

A Button and a Bow!!

I wanted to share what I do with my DSP when I get it. I get my Catalog out and put the name of the paper and all the colors that are in it on the back with a black permanent ink pen. I also include the date and catalog number. I write it really big, so that at a glance I can see all the info.... and wow it saves a lot of time if you are a Blogger!!!

I LOVE this card! Of course, I've always loved that stamp set -- and will never, ever part with it. The blocks are all beautifully stained from many projects. The pinwheel and the buttons for wheels really make this project.

Great card! The Big Top DSP is going on my August order. I love the bright colors :-). Thanks for the tip about writing the colors on the dsp backing. It makes total sense even for non-bloggers :-)

Happy Stamping!
