Life's a bed of roses for Monkey Challenge #55

Life might be a bed of roses but, in my case it looks like Lavender. I used the stamp set "Nature Walk" for my card this week, for the A La Card Monkey Challenge. I kind of followed the sketch this week, I just really wanted to put some jewels on this card for some reason.

You're a gem!! This is a card that I could send any friend of mine because, they are all gems to me!

This sketch is from a card I made a few years ago. I had made it for a card contest and I won!! So this sketch has some good memories for me.

The gems are from the Prettys kit.

On this card I colored the Lavender with a marker "Orchid Opulence", I asked my Husband if he thought the flowers need some color and he said "yes", so I did it just for him. What do you think, does it need it or not?

Terry's card is bright and cherry this week, just click here to see it.

Just go to A La Card Monkey for more info on the challenge and to see all the cool cards that everyone makes.

Now it's time to go and make a card for this fun challenge!

Nature walk 7pc set

So this card is for me? That's so sweet of you! I agree with Hal that the lavendar needed some color. The pretties look cool. Luscious card, my girl.

Heidi said... pretty!! Loving the addition of the pretties and is that bird cut out?? You're amazing! It does give it great dimension, so the cutting paid off for the WOW factor! ;)
