St. Paddy's Day Owl Card

It's almost St. Patrick's Day, and Yip I love this Holiday too! I was named after my Grandfather Shirley Patrick O'Rourke, Irish as Irish can be! I really don't know much about my family history, but watching that new show "Who do you think you are" makes me really think about it. Ok... lets talk about my card now. I been waiting for this day to make this card, I saw the shirt tag stamp and wanted to make a little Shamrock Owl and he is so cute! I found the hat in an snowman stamp set. I know not everyone has thoughts of dressing up the little owl... But I have dreams about it!!! LOL

OMG...He is cute!

I hand cut out the little shamrock and put it on his hat.

I just found out today that it is not St. Patty's Day it's St. Paddy's Day. Back in the old days Patrick was spelled Padraig... Yep.! Thanks to my Husband and friend Terry Su, they know all these great things, I can never remember. Lets see what happens next year when I type. P.S. I did have it wrong in my blog header but I change it. lol

No one dresses their owls like you do. They are the best dressed in the county, and I am sure this one would be a hit in Dublin.

Cute card. And did you see your blog is now listed on mine. ;-))

Your owl is so adorable. Only you would have thought to dress him/her up. Great job Shirley. I'm Irish too, Connolly is my maiden name, but I don't have an owl to dress up!
