Things I Love Butterfly Card for ColourQ

I am doing an all Butterfly Class for a friend that is moving away. I asked her to pick the theme and she said "butterflies!!!" In my mind I was "oh no!! I don't know if I could do it". This card is way out of my comfort zone. I think I have added Butterflies to maybe 3 cards in all my years stamping!! lol

So my mind was kind of blank to start and I went to ColourQ to get a good color combo. I don't have any Dusty Durango so I used Calypso Coral. I took a card that Dawn  made, over at DO Stamping and used it like a sketch.

Check out all the great cards at ColorQ!!! The DT has a great bunch of cards this week.

Here is a close up to see all the Smooch Spritz I used, so hard to get a picture of that. I really loved how it turned out.

OH. MY. GOSH!!!! I just adore this card---so free-spirited and fun, just like you!! It makes me HAPPY on this gray ugly day!!! LOVE it! I got a valentine card from my downline and she used that grunge image for her background....now I am pretty sure I need it too! Thanks for playing with our colors this week!

Shirley, I love your card. I have not gotten that stamp because I did not know what I would use it for! You did a fabulous job with your butterflies and it would appeal to a lot of different audiences! Thanks for joining us this week on the ColourQ and sharing this card with us.
