School Days at Paper Players #58

Oh My Goosh!! I have had this stamp set forever. I was blog hopping and seen that Paper Players was doing a School Day Theme. So I got to make this really cute School Locker Card. Do you remember the days when you got to go to your Locker, and you had all the pictures of your friends and the Hot Cute guys of the time... and always a mirror to put more lip gloss on. lol

I just love how bright this card turned out. I stamped the lockers with out even using the Stamp~a~ma~jig.... yeah wow I can't even believe it.

If you want to play along go to Paper Players.

I used brads on the locks of the lockers, to give them a 3d effect.

I love this Play Date DSP, to bad its retired.

Another card I made with a different side of the DSP. Some of you might like this one better it has a cleaner crisper look.

I was making this card and my Husband brought a frog in from the little pond that we have. He said "hey look what I got" then he opened his hands and out jumped the frog... jumping and jumping all over my stamp room... lol

Stamp Set:
It's Academic 8pc set
Ink and Paper Colors:
Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, White, Old Olive
and So Saffron.
Accessories:
Sponge Dauber, Circle Punches 1 in and 1 1/8 in. Brads same as ink colors.

Play Date in the 2010-2011 Catalog

I like both cards, but prefer the second. The brown background paper makes the colorful lockers POP! This is really cute. I'm glad you made it for the challenge!

Shirley, what a fabulous set and I cannot believe you stamped this without a stamp-a-ma-jig. I love both cards, but love the second one more! Love the frog, too! What a gorgeous creature he is.
So glad you were able to join the Paper Players this week

I can't believe you didn't use a stamp-a-ma-jig, Shirley! Even if I did used one, I bet I couldn't have lined those lockers anywhere near as straight as you did :) I like both cards but I think the first one is my favourite. Thanks for playing along with the Paper Players this week!

What a great card, you did a fab job on it! Oh yes, I remember those locker days. I shared my locker with three friends of mine just because it was next to the cutest boy in our grade! Fun days!
