Timeless Portrait Card with Jolee's Framed Silouhettes for Paper Playes

Hi Friends

Yes I am back with another card for the Paper Players School Days Theme Challenge. I just could not help myself, I love this theme!!!. My Friend Deanna got me these Jolee's Framed Silouhettes at Hobby Lobby on her way to my house.

I am going to miss this Timeless portrait paper. I just have this one pack left and it is almost gone.

Back to School does Rule!! I am counting down the days until the kids go back!! LOL

How many of you remember doing a Silouhette picture while in School?! I know I did! I loved it and still remember having one in my bedroom as a kid. I kind of wish my Mom was a hoarder so that I would still have it, but my Mom does not keep anything.
This one is my Son's from when he was in the first grade, September 2009. He was wearing a Tux that day... Yes a Tux, he was James Bond for about two years at School... the Teachers loved it!

On this Silouhette frame I took it apart and used the timeless portrait paper inside of it. The girl is inside of the clock. lol

I have been trying to make 6 of every card that I make. I made 3 for me and 3 for Deanna. I did make hers a kit so that she can put it together during her lunch hour at work.

In the package of the Jolee's Silhouettes their are 7 different Silouhettes in gold and silver. This one is a cute baby boy, some of them are really tiny and would have made a cute mini tag on the cards.

My Husband leaves for work around 5am every morning and I was still up (sewing Owls) when he was getting ready to go. He told me that it was a Full Moon so I was taking a picture and got him leaving for work at the same time.

What a great post. The cards are gorgeous and yes, I totally remember doing the silhouette project in kindergarten. How late, or early, were you up 'til making owls?

OH MY GOSH, these are fabulous! You are such a sweet friend to make some for Deanna too! And I am so glad you finally shared the cycle picture. AWESOME!!! You have such talent...thanks for sharing both your cards and the photo with us at the Paper Players. I always look forward to seeing what you come up with, especially since that paper was very intimidating to me. Maybe it's cuz I never had a silhouette done in school??? LOL!

Shirley, I can only imagine how dapper your son was sporting his tux for those two tears in school. That is awesome! Love your silouhette cards...those frames are fabulous. The delicate punched border and the rich satin ribbon are the perfect touches, too. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week! Hugs! :)
