Hi Blogging Friends!!

I have talked about my Butterfly Class for the last few posts. I am now sharing the pictures with you. We had a really great time, we all had Butterfly dreams that night. It was 6 cards for $20.00. I still have some cut if anyone wants to come over to make them, or even if you want a card kit.

I used my Biscotti recipe and then added a twist by making these Peppermint mocha Biscotti!! YUM!

Use the Recipe below, but add these ingredients.

Take 3tbsp of ground coffee beans and 2 tbsp of Kahlua; mix together then Microwave it for 15 seconds. Then add to mixture after you put in the Macadamia nuts. For the topping melt down Semi Sweet or Milk Chocolate chips and spread onto tops of biscotti, then dip right away into crushed Candy Cane.

Heather workin' the Big Shot.

Kim's favorite card!! If you look past Kim you can see how I added pink lantern lights to the pink boa on the counter.

Card #2
 I love it! I think it's Stunning!

Look close to see the butterflies are in pink and first edition paper.

The Group having Fun!!

One of my favorite quick snacks that everyone loves, even my kids. Just use Planter's Dry Roasted Nuts and Candy Corn I used some Valentine Candy Corn in mine. The Salty Sweet is a yummy combo!!

Biscotti with Pink White Chocolate on top. I melted the pink chocolate in the microwave then put it in a zippy bag and cut the bottom corner tip off (instant icing bag) ... then did this fun design on them.

Biscotti Recipe

1/2 Cup of Butter
3/4 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 tbls Amaretto
2 cups + 2 tbls Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Cup Macadamia Nuts

Makes one dozen
Cook at 350 degrees 20-25 minutes

Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in vanilla, Amaretto and eggs until mixed... set aside. In a Medium bowl sift flour, baking powder and salt. Mix into butter mixture until smooth. Mix in Nuts.

Roll dough on floured surface. Place on cookie sheet and mold into a loaf shape (I sometimes will mold it into two small loafs). Bake - let cool. Slice into 3/4 inch (I make mine smaller sometimes) slices. Bake 5-10 minutes on each side.

The food all in Pink Fiestaware.

Shirley, Great Pics! Love the cards...the decorations...and the food! Lots of work, but friends (especially stamping friends) are so worth it!
Thanks for sharing the recipes, too! I'll have to try the sweet and salty snack and the Biscotti one, too. (Have you a lemon Biscotti recipe?)
Thanks for sharing! - Micki
