Under the Stars Card for Paper Players Humorous Challenge

Hi Blogging Friends!!

I am doing the Happy Dance today!! I am so excited to be a part of The Paper Players Team for the month of April! Plus to have the first challenge be a Humorous one, fits me to a "T". (is that how you spell "T") I love to make funny cards. Some of my past funny cards include penguins stacked on top of each other juggling fish and a bear on top of a camper eating a sleeping bag. When I see a stamp set, I think of something funny to do with it.

When I seen this bear I knew one day I would put a tutu on it. I used my sewing machine to gather the ribbon on one edge then hot glued it onto the card. The bunny ears are from the Sock Monkey stamp set.

Take it from me, it's fun to make a funny card!! lol Don't think too hard about it, just go with your gut and make the first card you think of.  Now go to The Paper Players blog and check out the rest of the Design Teams cards they will "Tickle your Funnybone!"

I made 4 of these card and the two not pictured has the two colors for the words.

I colored this bear with Soft Suede ink, for some reason it blended better then the Chocolate Chip ink on the first card.

Now you can see how cute the Tutu turned out, I added a few pearls for the waist band. On this Easter basket I used markers for the eggs and then took the Real red marker and out lined the basket then water colored it in.

First of all, a big HUGE welcome to the Paper Players, Ms. Shirley Pumpkin! I kind of knew you would rock this challenge in your sassy-style and boy was I right! Absolutely adorable! A bear, dressed as a bunny...in a tu-tu. LOVE everything about that! The glitter details are the perfect touch for that Easter ballerina and I love how you dressed up the punched sentiment, too. Hope you had a super weekend! Big hugs sent your way! :)

PS: Little Juliet made her way to Texas safe and sound. Thank you SO much!! I love her!
