By The Tide Card

Hi Blogging Friends

I made another By The Tide card or I should say cards. I did this card for my club.

This stamp set is perfect for any greeting! I don't think it has to be a Man card every time or even just for people that like ocean or boat themed cards.

This is a quick and easy layout to always go back to with just about any stamp set.

I think the pearls make it look like bubbles. lol

I love putting pennants onto any card. When I was finishing up on cutting all the cards for club I used some scraps that were left to make this one.

Crystal Effects is one of my Favorite Techniques, here I added it to the seahorse and then Hot Glued it onto the button. The best way to do this with a small image is to stamp the image, then use the Crystal Effects, let Dry, then cut it out.

So I am adding it to SUO Challenge this week!!!

I took a picture of my desk... OMG it's really bad! What I love about my desk is that its solid as a ROCK, I got it at a garage sale years ago for only $10.00. Its an old Military Desk, it was shipyard gray but I painted it a golden color. If my house was falling down I could survive underneath of it no problem.... ahh one problem I have to much 12x12 DSP underneath. lol

This is a big mess, but I was doing a few projects at the same time and things got a little out of hand! Lol. It's all cleaned up now... wink wink ;)

This is a Beautiful view that I woke up to, the day I took all these pictures of my desk and cards.

Thanks for coming by and saying HI!

I love the idea of placing the sea horse on top of the button.

Love what you've done with the By the Tide set! But I really wrote to comment on your great desk. Those old military desks are awesome. My mom made my dad sell his old metal one but he insisted on keeping the wooden one (must have been a commanding officer's!) and it is still around and kicking even though my dad isn't. It is sturdy and huge and has those wonderful pull out slats. I call 'em cutting boards but death to whoever uses it as a cutting board.

Hey, Girl!!! Just stopping by to visit *checking to see if your Halloween tree was up! LOL*.
I always LOVE visiting your blog! I also love that you shared your DESK!!!! I get down to a 6 x 6 workspace as I sit and create, too! LOL Nothing worse, except CLEANING it all up!
I have one of those big desks, too! Paid $10 for mine, too! I never thought of it as being a piece of PROTECTION before, but, you are definitely right!!
Love ya!
