Thank you for joining us for the Pals Halloween Blog Hop. We hope you enjoy our virtual trick-or treat hop where you will either learn great tricks for your creative projects or enjoy a blog candy treat.
You should have just left stop number {22} on the Pals Hop - {Susan Itell at Simple Stampin' }. If so, you are in the right spot.  If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

We only have 23 days until Halloween! I am so excited! It's my favorite Holiday and I have a ton of decorations and I love having big costume every year with my friends. Decorations is not were I stop I have every single Halloween stamp set that Stampin' Up! has made in the past ten years!! YES Love everyone of them!  I am going to share a few pictures of one display I made in my Kitchen and Dinning room area at the bottom of this post. So Now to the Card.

I made this card for a Halloween Card Party! The girls get to come over see all the decorations and make some Halloween cards. We have a blast! We even have some spooky food!

I have to say this little skeleton guy is one of my favorite stamps this year. If you did not see the card that I used him in last week or so, I cut him out and made his arms move to hold a ticket.

I don't know how many of you have the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set BUT, if you don't! Don't let another day pass without getting it! It's the ink splatters behind the skeleton and on the pumpkin part of the main card. You can use it on any style of card and any season not just Halloween.

Toil & Trouble 4pc set Holiday Catalog 2013
Halloween Bash 5pc set Holiday Catalog 2013

Now for the Treat!!!

This blog hop is all about "Trick or Treating" one of my favorite thing to do! I decided to do a Treat on my blog. YES... I am going to give up one of my Halloween Owls! Herman is made partly with Stampin' Up! fabric, the green part and I also used GLOW in the DARK spider web fabric! Can't come up with any better combo then that!

I am going to draw a name from my comment list on Saturday October 12th, so the last day to leave a comment is Friday October 11th. I will ship Herman anywhere in the USA. For a chance to win Herman #1 Please follow my blog by email or members list or BOTH and #2 in your comment include the age you were the last time you went Trick or Treating.

This is going to be fun!

Now for some of my Halloween Decorations!!!

This is just one of the displays that I have in my home this year. I really go all out and its so much fun, except for my Husband who has to haul all the crates of stuff down from our upstairs garage! lol Poor baby!  I think this is about 8 creates of stuff and I have over 25.

If you look at the top of the display you can see some branches that I got in the woods that have some really cool spooky moss on them. Then I added spiders crawling down from that....oooooo scaaaary!!!

I got that fun glitter skeleton from Target a few years ago, its an owl that is behind his head. The big white door and desk are screwed together and make a amazing part of the display. I traded a girl 12 cards for that door and desk display, not really sure what I am going to do with it after Halloween But, OMG Perfect for this! The big skeleton head makes sounds and its eyes blink red and yes that is a Zombie baby on top of its head holding a snake! lol

This is my Witches Potion area. Can you see the rats fighting in the witch boots? I got those cool boots at a garage sale for $4.00 (find of the year). I have lots of potion bottles and a few doll heads. lol

I love this hilarious haunted creation. I had this bird house thing for years and was not using it, and was looking at it one day and BAM I got out the black spray paint then put the Zombie baby with some lights inside. People are always creeped out by this, it just makes me laugh. Don't get me wrong I don't like really scary Halloween stuff but, for some reason I have grown to love Zombie Babies. lol

Happy Blog Hoping
and
Thank You
Hugs
Shirley Pumpkin

Zombie Baby! Your decorations are amazing!!! I have always loved your owls - Herman is a cutie!

I last went trick or treating in my softball uniform, complete with mouth full of bubble gum when I was 13. MANY years ago. Thankfully I can still tag along with my own kiddos now.

How exciting to see one of your owls as the blog candy - they are famous among the pals. :-)

I was 11. Always tall for my age and matured early. No one thought I was a kid in grade school!

Yay, cute card...awesome Halloween decorations and your little owl is adorable. I was probably 13ish the last time I went trick or treating (other than with my daughter). I was too old then but we loved candy so we dressed as hobo's and went anyway.

I was looking back at some past posts. What a handsome pair you have with Levi & Calvin!
All the other owls you showed in those posts are very cute too! You are good at matching up the fabrics!

Technically I trick or treated last year. My husband and I dress up every year and take turns walking around with our youngest. I guess my costume was pretty good because I got some candy too! This is her last year and I am so sad. We always decorate our house for Halloween and are the favorite house for most of the neighborhood kids to visit. I wish we had as many indoor decorations as you because that looks amazing! Oh and Herman is a pretty handsome young man.

The last time I went trick or treating was just several years ago; we live in a retirement community and we took our wine glasses and went trick or treating to our friends houses for them to refill our wine glass.

Love your Hermans

Last year with my child, who doesn't have much of a sweet tooth so I end up eating most of the candy. . . Really cute owl, I'd be proud to show him off. (the name my parents called me before I was born and they knew if I was a boy or a girl, was "Little Herman" - so I feel a special link to him ;-)
