My Stamp Room Reveal !! And What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday aka WOYWW #86

I decided to reveal my new Stamp Room on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. Thanks to Julia and all the Gals and maybe a few guys, I always have a great time snooping in on every ones Crafty area. I also love that so many of them leave nice comments.. so I always try my best to return them.. plus some.! I have been working on this for a few weeks. I took my kids TV room and they got my small loft upstairs. Hee Hee (evil grin) I am not sure how happy they are about it yet, But I am super Happy!! One of the best things about it is that, now when friends come over to stamp with me I don't have to go upstairs 100 times getting things.. Ouch!! so many nights I could hardly walk.

As you walk in from the front door. That is my desk with the big black chair. I am not sure why I did not turn the light on.. I think the pic would have been better.
Here is one side with a bunch of cubbys that I got at a Hardware Store. They are Martha Stewart and were $39.00 each, their is two there. I also have 2 chairs that go at that table, but I moved them for this photo. I made the stamp shelves with 1 inch by 2 inch pine, that I got at the local Hardware store. There are more photo's on the another post, click "Here" to see.
Closer look at my desk and the other chair is for Deanna when ever she comes over, she will hurt anyone who sits there... lol The Black chair is mine. I picked up Office chairs at garage sales this summer, people are always selling them because they don't match or something.. so I picked them up for $10.00 or even less. Who cares if in the stamp room they all don't match.. lol
Cabinets on the wall, by the door way. I have all my photos in the green hutch bottom part (my Husband built me that) and then albums and background stamps on the shelves.
Inside the cabinet, with all my scrapbooking paper and alphabet stamp sets.. and lots of other junk.
Table with my Card tree by the entry.
I got this table at a junk store for $12.00. The card tree is SU, but is no longer available.
I bought this shelf at a junk store for $5.00. I made the flip flop album a few years ago, and the wreath was made by Terry Su.
View of entry, the Valentine tree is right next to the front door.
 My Valentine Tree.
My messy desk, with some scrapbook pages I just got done.
Right next to my chair I have the big-shot and the punches. My Husband made the little table and he is also going to make me a much better shelf for my punches.. I can't wait.

For more Pictures and a close up of a Stamp Lamp I made click "here" I think I am going to be spending most of my time here in my new room!!

Thanks for looking
Hugs
Shirley

Great job, Shirley. You inspire me everyday. Keep up the great work. Soon, I'll have a craft room, too. I'm working on it. I love the ideas. Great job making that wall of stamps bigger for us to see. I love your collection. I'm never getting rid of my older stamps now. LOL

Your new room is AMAZING!!! I would enjoy having a play in there! My favourite (oops, favorite!) part is the wall with the stamps & colourful cubes.

It's truly awesome, no wonder you're planning to spend lots of time in there :-)

Wow, your room is fabulous. I love the stamps lining the walls and the warmth given to the room by pieces like your hutch and small table. What a wonderful workspace. congrats.

Hi Shirley - love this room! Lets see... the best part about it is the 2 chairs. I know it sounds odd, but that's the one thing I don't have and can't find: a local crafty buddy. Boo hoo! I can sit here with my coffee and imagine working in your room with music blaring and laughter flowing. Ahh!

Ok, so the stamp wall is amazing and I love the wire coffee-cup-looking rack on the wall with cards and such. And the SU card tree - oh my!

Thanks for visiting me and sharing your fabulous space!

Cheers,

Oooh, how lovely! I have a studio of my own, but it's not as tidy or organised as yours - still so much stuff sitting around waiting for me to organise it. Maybe I should borrow your husband to make me some new shelves too... In fact, I don't think I'm short on shelf space, just organisation!

This is really a beautiful craft room. Your stamp collection is amazing.

Just one question: Will you ever do any housework or cooking?

Shirley, I want your room, and your stash, in fact just give me your house, but not your kids,
